Project Director
To conceive and develop new projects w.r.t funding and global connect for KSUM and also addressing issues on funding for startup by adopting innovative ways and to generate external finance for supporting activities for startups. The PD will directly report to the Chief Executive Officer, KSUM.
Nature of Post: The vacancy is on a contract basis for a period of one year.
Age limit: Below 50 years as on Jan 01, 2022.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Directing projects that may include the development of Networks, partnerships, industry connections, Preparation Of Projects for Sourcing National & International, External Funds, Startup Investment Portfolio In the State, Investor Portfolio, Women Empowerment, etc.
- Actively source, outreach, contact and build relationships with potential leads and future investors.
- Be an important point of contact for regulators across various markets.
- Any other assignments/projects as assigned by management
(a) Educational and other qualifications- Any Graduation
(b) Work Experience-
- Morethan 8 years of experience as overall experience in the industry/ related institutions, Start-up (as Founder/Co-Founder) and/ or an enabler of Start-up, Innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem by virtue of managing/ leading/ coordinating key activities or its flagship programmes.
- Minimum four years working in a leadership role.
Skills Required:
- A highly motivated individual looking to work in the start-up ecosystem.
- Experience in leading/ coordinating key activities in an incubator/ accelerator/startup ecosystem.
- Prior experience as a startup founder or with a relevant VC/ Angel investment firm.
- Overall understanding of the start-up incubation process and related challenges
- Good overall leadership and networking skills.

Duration- One-year Contract
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and sustain relationships with mentors and startups.
- Organizing programs and networking events to nurture incubated startups.
- Monthly feedback collection based on checkpoint review.
- Coordinating review meetings
- Prepare monthly progress report and business progress report to SCDD
- Assisting any project/ program of the organization as per reporting manager’s instruction.
Qualification - Graduation in any discipline
- Minimum one year of work experience in similar activities.
- The candidate should maintain a good relationship with industry/ institutions exposure to startup working environment/ entrepreneurship development will be given preference.

Work Experience:

The COO will manage to strategize and operationalize strategic plans to achieve organizational goals. The COO will directly report to the Chief Executive Officer, KSUM.
The key role is to secure the functionalities of KSUM to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

- To identify, develop and implement long and short-term strategic direction and plans for KSUM’s operations.
